The Student Centre is taking a personal approach to clubs this year to make sure that you are best being served in your student space.
In order to receive and complete the Welcome Package with the Student Centre, please contact and arrange an appointment to meet with the Student Centre. You must complete the Welcome Package in order to book spaces in both the First and Second Student Centre.
To enhance the community experience, the Student Centre offers room space in both locations. In order to book space, your club must be ratified with YFS or SC&LD. Steps for Room Booking:
Create an account on the Student Centre Website http://yusc.ca/student-club-services/room-booking/
Log in and join your organization.
Request is forwarded for approval, after which you will be notified by email and given permission to use the booking service.
You are then able to view available rooms and times.
When a request is made for a room, the request must be first approved. You will receive email notification upon approval and keys can be picked up at the Student Centre Office, which closes at 5:00pm.
To return the keys after hours, slip the key under the Student Centre Office door, enclosed in an envelope clearly identifying the club's name.

OTHER UNIVERSITY SPACES
Students who wish to reserve and use University space for an event, must be registered with Student Community and Leadership Development (SC&LD). Once recognized (through SC&LD) as a Registered Student Organization (RSO), you may submit a Temporary Use of University Space/Event application through the YU Connect link http://tuus.info.yorku.ca/space-room-reservations-forms/ to reserve space for all on-campus activities (indoors and outdoors).
